What is MindCheck?

MindCheck is a clinical and research app based on the open-source mindLAMP app which is developed by the Digital Psychiatry Program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School affiliated teaching hospital.

 

Flexible Tools for Clinicians and Researchers​
Designed for flexibility, MindCheck allows clinicians and researchers to create, customize, and schedule activities for patients or study participants, deliver timely notifications, and access near real-time data to support informed clinical and research decisions.

 

Engaging Features for Participants
Participants engage with the app by completing surveys, playing cognitive games and exploring wellness resources. In the background, the app seamlessly collects passive sensor data—such as movement, location, and step counts—using the device’s accelerometer, GPS, pedometer, and other sensors, without disrupting the participant experience.
